How long will it take to ship my vehicle? +
The length of time that your vehicle takes to arrive at its destination depends on the distance of the move. Every carrier has a logbook of hours they can drive maximum. So it will be typically a little longer than if you were to driver the vehicle yourself. Fidelity Auto Shipping strives to provide superior customer service and in doing so “Times to Delivery” are based on our knowledge of the industry and previous deliveries. Please be aware that the time to delivery is approximate. Uncontrollable variables such as weather, demand, and cut-off times can affect the transit process.
How do I prepare my vehicle for shipping? +
Make sure your vehicle is clear of debris and relatively clean so a proper inspection can be performed. Please do not load your vehicle with personal items or fill up your gas tank before shipping as this will add unnecessary weight.
How do I book my vehicle transport? +
Already have an auto transport quote? Call one of our agents with your booking number to schedule your car transport. If you do not know your booking number, our reps will be able to find it for you.

Can I specify a pickup date? +
Generally, we require a two to three-day window for. For a nominal fee, Fidelity Auto Shipping can offer guaranteed pick up however by having your vehicle picked up locally and taken to a storage facility to await pick up from one of our carriers.

Does Fidelity Auto Shipping ship inoperable, unusual vehicles, or motorcycles? +
Yes. Fidelity Auto Shipping regularly ships motorcycles and inoperable vehicles and specializes in shipping unusual vehicles, including exotic, specialty and classic automobiles. Extra parts are accepted on a case-by-case basis, and an additional fee may apply.
What payment options does Fidelity Auto Shipping accept? +
We accept, Credit Cards, Wire Transfers, Checks, Cash, and PayPal.
Will my vehicle be transported by Truck or Rail? +
Depending on your origin and destination, your vehicle can be transported by truck, rail or both modes. If shipped by rail, your vehicle will be loaded into a car carrier rail-car. These rail-cars have either 2 or 3 levels and hold upwards of 15 vehicles. If your vehicle is moved by a car carrier keep in mind that these trucks are very large and sometimes will not be able to drop your vehicle off at your home address so an alternative drop off location may be arranged by Fidelity Auto Shipping.
Can I ship boxes and personal items in my vehicle? +
Due to the recent carrier regulations, no personal items will be allowed to be shipped inside your vehicle. Failure to comply with these regulations may result in delay of your vehicle being delivered and/or additional fees.
What is the difference between “Terminal to Terminal” and “Door to Door” service? +
Terminal to Terminal is the sometimes the most cost-efficient method of car shipping as your vehicle is transported between terminals allowing carriers to not have to calculate extra fuel costs. You will be required to drop off, and pick-up your vehicle at the given Terminal for transport vs. having a carrier come and pick up and drop off your vehicle.
Door to Door service, can be arranged by consolidating one of our smaller local trucks, such as a flatbed tow truck. Your vehicle will then be transported directly to our Terminal so that it can be loaded onto a rail-car or car carrier. If you require this service please let us know at time of booking so we can adjust the rate accordingly.
What is the process if there is damage found to my vehicle upon delivery? +
Please call the offices of Fidelity Auto Shipping immediately. In most cases, we have only 14 – 30 days to file a claim. If not reported in time we cannot offer assistance or be held responsible for any damage that might have occurred. Additionally, you must clearly indicate any resulting damage that occurred during shipping on the "Bill of Lading" or delivery receipt issued by the driver at the time of delivery.
